That rib plate with the double Mac & Cheese was amazing. These ribs don’t need any sauce the seasoning speaks for itself. I ate 20mins ago and still licking my fingers . We will be back for more!

Usually the ribs are pretty good, got a nice half slab just hate they charge you an extra fee 3.9% of something like that, when you use your credit card. Other than that great ribs!

I waited 30 min for half a slab but it was well worth the wait.

I grew up on Chester's BBQ and it is as good as I remember. Everything was chef's kiss. The customer service was great. This is a grocery/convenient store so there is no place to sit and eat. This is take out only. It can be a wait time and sometimes it jammed with people waiting on their orders. It is worth the wait.

Visited on a Wednesday around 2 pm I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and best BBQ sandwich I've had in the Columbus area so far. I may have missed it but there is no seating available. It's sort of a small convenience store but they also make BBQ. I didn't plan on going here but typed in BBQ and this one was close to me. I've visited a couple other known BBQ spots around here which I'll leave unnamed, but the other spots are really dry, expensive, and gross. I was really wanting a BBQ sammich and had my fingers crossed that this spot would satisfy the craving. It did just that. I opted for the BBQ sammich combo. Planned to take just a bite out in the car for first impressions before I left but that plan fell through quickly I stayed and devoured that food #dontjudgeme Price was amazing, 8 for a sammich, sweet tea, and bag of chips Sammich was fantastic. Soft bun, moist meat, and sauce was delicious. Was sort of thrown off by the yellow-mustard looking sauce but it was amazing. Perfect sauce for that sammich. Sweet tea is perfectly sweet and not watered down. Like I always say though, don't take my word for it but go try for yourself. Especially with BBQ, I know everyone has different tastes when it comes to this type of food. I am from Texas so when I pulled up and saw the place surrounded by smoke from the pit, I knew it was going to be delicious! Cheers

Been going to Chester’s for years and they have the best barbecue ever. I have moved due to military commitments but do managed to go back and will go stand in line to order Chester’s barbecue. I love their selection of ribs and the last time I was there in January I did order a rib plate and a slab of ribs because we were having to travel back to Augusta and didn’t know when we would be driving back to Columbus. We did freeze the rib plate and ate the slab and kept some of their mustard based sauce and Cole slaw. I love the sauce a lot. We did have to wait an hour but it was worth it on a Saturday. Do stop by Chester when you are in town and you won’t regret it.

Delicious food, especially key lime cake and every thing pork.
